This sweet little baby boy was born to a long time friend, and I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to photograph and snuggle him at just over a week old. He is absolutely adorable, so sweet and was SO determined not to miss ANYTHING in that shoot. Thankfully the rest of us were just a tad more determined to get at least a few images of the boy sleeping 😉

Such big, bright, beautiful eyes on this little guy. He is incredibly alert for being so young. Thankfully he is also a rather laid back little fellow, and was happy to just hang out while we took his picture.

This is one of my favourite poses for newborns. It shows off all of their adorable features from head to toe, and babies just love being all curled up on their tummy.

Mom and I had to work very hard to get this picture, but the colour match his nursery perfectly so there was no way I was giving up! It took some doing but after a blanket change, many tries, and a quick power outage we got there. His session will definitely go down as a memorable one! I think it was worth it though, don’t you?

Love that little face. Can’t wait to see how he grows and changes over the next few years.
