Baby Austin – Courtice Newborn Photography

Another wonderful family was back in the studio recently for round two! It is double the fun with these sessions as I not only get to meet and snuggle an adorable newborn, but I get to see one of my past newborn clients now that they are a big brother or sister! It truly is one of the best perks of the job to get to watch these sweet babies turn into lovely children and beyond.

When big brother came in for his session there was a lot of mess coming from that little man, so this time Mom and Dad decided to keep the diaper on and spare their clothes (and my floors 😉 ) the mess. That is of course until we came to the final image which required the little man to be diaper free. I kid you not, little Austin held everything he had through the entire session and saved it all for that one last shot. Baby boy apparently has a great sense of humor! (Thankfully Mom and Dad do too!)

I adore big brother’s expression in this family portrait. He looks so proud and excited. I was very pleasantly surprised with how happy he was to pose for these family portraits! You never know what you will get at this age, but he was all about it.

I might just have to do more of my newborn sessions with the diaper on. It made for a super smooth session since we didn’t have to stop for any messes, and it was fun getting to use these adorable wraps and pants! I have more coming in soon from a few favourite vendors, so there will be even more options to choose from.

How gorgeous are those baby blues?! Love that we were able to sneak in a few images of him wide awake before he went off to sleep for all of his posed photographs.
