Get in touch and we can chat through all of the details of planning your session from time of year, to location to outfits! Durham Region is a beautiful place and there are lots of beautiful places where we can set the stage for your perfect family portrait!
THE FAMILY EXPERIENCE
My aim is for every family session is for you to have a fabulous time laughing and playing with your children. The vibe is relaxed and playful, with poses that allow for snuggles and love.
AFTER THE SESSION
You will receive a gorgeous gallery of images to select from. Once you have made your selections I get to work perfecting each and every one so that you have incredible images to hang around your home! From my experience children LOVE to see pictures of them and their family hanging as art around their home.

What time of day is best for outdoor photos?
I always book my outdoor sessions for the evening, as this is when we get them most beautiful golden light that flatters in all the right ways. The exception to that rule is when very small children are involved and then we go for first thing in the morning (the 2nd best time of day for lighting) to make sure that they are rested and happy!
What if someone is sick?
As a Mom of 4 I COMPLETELY understand that life happens and kids get sick (a lot). If there is an illness going through the home we will reschedule, I just ask that as much notice is given as possible as the outdoor spaces are very limited.
Where will the session take place?
During the planning phase we will chat about the style and feel you would like to capture in your family portraits and then decide on a location accordingly. I am always on the look out for fabulous locations and can make suggestions as to what location will work best for your family.

Having had little ones of my own I completely understand the stress and exhaustion that comes along with being a new parent.
